Central Election Commission holds session

The Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan held a session to consider the registration of observers from international organizations for the elections to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis.
In accordance with article 6 of the law on elections to the parliament,
observers from political parties participating in elections,
representatives of the mass media, as well as observers from foreign
states, international organizations and movements may participate in
all events related to preparation and conduction of the elections.
The
Central Election Commission registered the mission of observers from
the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in the
quantity of 13 persons.
In accordance with article 6 of the law on elections to the parliament, observers from political parties participating in elections, representatives of the mass media, as well as observers from foreign states, international organizations and movements may participate in all events related to preparation and conduction of the elections.
The Central Election Commission registered the mission of observers from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in the quantity of 13 persons.
The members of the commission also considered implementation of the Concept of preparation and conduction of the elections to the Oliy Majlis, regional, district and city councils of people’s deputies.
