The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan guarantees the citizens the right to vote and to be elected to the representative bodies of the state authority.
The citizens who are undergoing treatment at medical establishments have also received the opportunity to cast their votes on Sunday elections.
UzA correspondent visited the voting station No.538 located at the National specialized scientific and practical medical center of therapy and medical rehabilitation in Tashkent.
The station is provided with communication equipment and the voters can familiarize themselves with the programs of political parties and biographies of the candidates.
About 200 patients from different regions of Uzbekistan, who are being treated at the center, will vote here today.
Rano Olimkhojayeva from Zangiota district of Tashkent region says the patients were acquainted with the pre-election programs of the parties and the activities of the candidates.
“We are thankful for the conditions created for us for participation in the elections,” she said.
