Voters in Tashkent are participating in the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the city people’s deputies’ council.
At the voting station No.477 of Shaykhantahur district, almost 1,380 citizens living in Urda mahalla are registered. 66 of them are young men and ladies participating in the elections for the first time.
Student of the Tashkent Islamic University Mehroj Musayev said he voted for the candidates he believed were the best.
“The voters demonstrate their political views and civil position during the elections. I voted for those candidates who, in my opinion, are feeling responsibility for the future of the country and its people,” he said.
