Liberal Democratic Party sets priorities for election

The Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen of Uzbekistan – the Liberal Democratic Party (UzLiDeP) held its firth congress in Tashkent.
More than 300 delegates from UzLiDeP’s organizations in all regions of the country participated in the meeting.
The chairman of the UzLiDeP Political Council’s Executive Committee M.Teshaboyev made a report on the main results of the work of the party organizations in the past period and the tasks for participation in the elections to the legislative and representative authorities.
The congress participants evaulated the work of the party in the field of deepening social, economic and political reforms. They called for improvement of the activities in implementation of large socially important projects.
The delegates approved the main priorities of the election platform of UzLiDeP, which cover activities in deepening market reforms, liberalization of the economy, state and social construction, support of the businessmen and farmers.
In accordance with the election legislation, the congress nominated candidates for the deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan from UzLiDeP.
