In accordance with Articles 58 and 61 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, and Article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Elections to Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, CEC discussed registration of Husniddin Chinnibekov, elected during the joint session of representative bodies of government of Sirdarya region on July 24, 2010, as member of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A relevant resolution has been adopted on the issue.

In addition, other matters pertaining to powers of the Commission have also been discussed during the meeting and applicable resolutions have been approved.
