Voting continues at elections in Uzbekistan

79.4% of the registered voters cast their votes at the elections of the deputies of the Legislative Chamber and local people’s deputies’ councils in Uzbekistan as of 5 pm on Sunday.
According to the Central Election Commission, 13,670,387 citizens voted so far of the total 17,215,700 registered voters.
The Conference of the Environmental Movement is also continuing. It will elect 15 deputies to the lower house of the parliament.
This information was announced by the vice chairman of the Central Election Commission K.Togayev at a press briefing at 5 pm.
The commission has not received any complaints about the violation of the election legislation, he said.
