Following the order of the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Halmukhammed Aitzhanovich Paluaniyazov was appointed Deputy Director of the Training Center for Electoral Legislation and Modern Technologies of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
By the order of the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Avazbek Azimovich Kodirov was appointed head of the logistics department of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
By the order of the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ikhtiyor Bakhtiyorovich Khadzhiev was appointed head of the department for legal support and consideration of appeals of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission.

Georgia's new parliament was elected on October 31, 2020. For the first time in Georgia, elections were held on the basis of a new mixed system, according to which 120 deputies will be elected under the proportional system and 30 under the majority system. The elections were attended by 48 parties and two blocs, as well as candidates nominated by 11 initiative groups in single-member constituencies.

This week is set to be packed with important events in the political life of Uzbekistan. Yesterday, the newly formed two houses, the Legislative Chamber and Senate, of the Oliy Majlis convened separately for their first sessions. Today, they have gathered for a joint meeting.
The meeting participants have considered issues related to the structural organization of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the first session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis expounded on important tasks to improve the efficiency of the upper house of parliament.
